Organic navel jewelry?

Is there such a thing? Is this a stupid question? Why? I'm so curious about this. I've been considering a navel piercing as a point of personal focus, but I *hate* metal. Hate's a strong word. I dislike metal jewelry in my body. Is there any reason why I couldn't have some horn or wood...

got mine today, I just ordered one so it was kinda a toss up as to if it would work for me or not but i scored. unmatched tawapa long twists in 8g. I've been weary of twists in the past because I can never picture how they would hang in ear, but this work fine. I've got a job interview Monday...

I bought a pair of these.. http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?ProductID=3172 a while ago and was wondering if i was doing something wrong with taking care of them, i know that organics can dry out and crack if you dont look after them and one of them looks as if its starting to crack in places...
