I have a zoology degree, but haven't done much with it really.
Was working as a very basic dental technician (partial denture wax ups), making just over $10. After 3 years got sick of the work and not great pay and am going back to school. For now I am jobless (eek!). Going for medical laboratory science/medical technology now, should make around $23-$25 per hour when I graduate.

I work two different positions for the same employer. I've got a part time dog grooming position and a part time kennel hand position. My grooming pay is based on commission, I get 50% of all my grooms. I've made up to $300 in a day, but I have slow days too. I only get paid $9/hr for the kennel work, but it's just a supplement. I'd like to go back to grooming full time; the new owners have been talking about expanding our grooming room and giving me more grooming days.

I'm 22 with a high school diploma and grooming certification. I work in a NJ suburb near Princeton at a dog daycare/boarding facility.

(This post reads weirdly, but I'm too tired to fix it.)

I make between $8 and $9 and hour as an assistant preschool teacher in a public preschool sponsored by a church. I work 25-35 hours a week and am technically "salaried" though I'm almost positive my boss doesn't know what that means. I live and work in the Lehigh Valley area, right outside of Allentown but most of the time I say I'm in Philadelphia because more people know Philly than they do Allentown or Bethlehem.
I've also worked at the same place for 4 years. My raise this summer was $0.06.

Whilst I was still at the paper/craft boutique, I was making $11/hr with 40hrs/week as a supervisor/keyholder/invitation specialist. I'm in Marin (5th highest income in the US) so the clientele was really hoity toity millionaire's housewives that liked to think they were the next Martha Stewart. My time was basically spent making sure they didn't catch my demo table on fire.

I was, and still am, making more as a self employed artist/jewelry designer. It was just my "let's get out of the house and be social" supplemental fallback income. I have an Associate's. Which is now being used to make clay donuts. Yup, that's my life.
Petra - I attack from the back, because it's easy; and I can assail while wearing very nice jewelry:
    5/8" lobes, 8g + 6g R flats, 14g R daith, 12g L/R nostrils, 2g septum, torso micro. 23hrs tattooing.
