What does this mean?

    Hello everyone.

Currently I'm very interested in these ear skins in 6g. http://bodyartforms.com/productdetai...ProductID=2980

But there is two types of 6g.

    The first says 1/4" wearable
    The second says 5/16" wearable.

What does that mean? I'm just interested in 6g ones.

    Confused.

Its what size you need... Kind of like long/regular/short pants... they're still the same size as far as 6g goes... just what length do you need...

it means how wide they are (the wearable area). if your ears are thicker get the 5/16" ones. if they are thinner get the 1/4" ones

I know this is kinda an old topic and didn't want to add another to congest the board. What is the best way to determine if you have thin or thicker ears?

Thanks all for your time and Merry Christmas Eve to all!

Measure the wearable on a pair that fits well.

Thanks Kwaniesiam. Just out of curiosity for myself and maybe others. Whats a good fit really. Should it be pretty flush with the front and back of you lobe or should it stick out just a bit front and back?

I know my glass sf glass plugs are huge in the back.

Thanks to everyone on this site for all the help I have learned so much just from reading other peoples posts and comments.

I hope one day I can share the info I have learned with other people looking to stretch.
