i also think this is just a sign that ears are being taken care of. a friend of mine, after treating his ears terribly and rejecting any advice i gave, is trying to shrink from 12mm back to a 18G, and after 2 months of naked, his ears still look big, ugly, red and scarred.

stay naked as much as possible wear wood or something light and massage lots as others said.. not much else you can do really. you say, your initial stretch from 0 to 00....did you get scalpelled from nothing to 0 or something along those lines? that could most probably be the cuase for the super stretchy ears..

make sure your plug is dry and clean, and wrap the tape on tightly. the thing with PFTE tape is that it adheres to itself, dsigned to be taped over it self many times. so for stretching purposes also, you need to put like 2 or 3 layers on the first time. like stated above, if your ears can only handle one layer, then you arnt ready to stretch. ...

i never wanted a septum..just got it, i suppose mostly to try out a piercer before i let him scalpel my ears (which never ended up happening), but then ended up loving my septum!
