You know with mine the only thing that fixed the bump was time. Lots an lots of time... I just kept it clean and waited it out. Two years later they stopped getting the stupid bumps! Also what kinda bump are you getting? If it's fluid filled (almost like a zit) it might just be a pissed off pore?

Hey I have them myself and I would say that as far as pain goes it's not that bad. It's like any other cartlidge piercing really. Now if you get them at the same time the 2d one will hurt more by far then the first. Mine did anyway, the whole I was aware of the pain coming made it worse the 2d time.  Mine were not placed ...
