i am curious as to what you think is the most common piercing (and i don't mean standard earlobes). Whats the most uncommon? I personally think the most common is the navel, just because it's always been popular.

most uncommon(around here)is usually cheeks or surface piercings

In Berkeley and SF I see a lot of septums. A lot of high school girls here have tragi and helix piercings. And most common mod in general... A ton of people have tattoos here. 

The nostril is probably the most popular non-earlobe related piercing in the world. Just think of all those cultures that embrace it aswel as western society.

 Most uncommon would be vertical lip piercings..

 I was suprised being in the small town im from how many people had "work done" a good 20% of people i talked to.

Lip rings are almost a norm around here.

 For most common, itis 100% nostril piercings here.

Uncommonly seen would be stretched nostril piercings, as I think I have the only set in Memphis. >_<

 Nostril, navel, side lip for common. Unfortunately for uncommon it's healthy stretched ears :(
