    Malware?

    I tried to go onto the main site today and got a warning page from my computer (MacBook) that the site contained malware which might harm my computer. I noticed that the site was down for a while last night, and don't know if that had something to do with it, but I was browsing the main site earlier today and did not receive any such warnings. Dose anyone know what is going on?

     Yes, my computer did something similar this morning.

    Last night i went on the main site to buy something (my first purchase-so i was stokedBig Smile) and noticed it was down, this morning when i went on i tried to sign in and my computer said that it wasn't the legit site, but that coulda been my fault becuase skipped out on the www. of it.. but the site is looking odd today. the html is off and a lot of things ( the product photos, clearance items, items in general) aren't coming up, i clicked on Tapes & Stretchers and it says no results, same with clearance iems. its got me a bit concerned because i still want to buy something today.

    It looks like a malware site has inserted scripts into all the image tags, which is screwing everything up- I noticed earlier that my RSS feed exploded with updated entries suddenly :/

    Not much we can do except avoid the site until it's cleaned up.

     I didn't see anything about Malware, but the site wouldn't open for me either last night.  I haven't had any problems today...

     I could not access the site last night and today, I cannot log in to my account.  It says that my email address is not in the database.. which i know.. simply no es verdad.  Just a heads up, it likely has something to do with why the site was down last night?

    Yeah I just went in now and instead of saying "waiting for www.bodyartforms.com" on the bottom of my screen as it loaded it said "waiting for" and then something weired like 55jfn.cn or something?

    I noticed this, too.

    Yes, unfortunately some computers out there are injecting information into our database which is destroying our site. Please do not be alarmed about anything being pulled OUT of the database. This has not happened. Only things were inserted INTO it.

     I've pulled the entire site down for now, and it will stay down until we can try and trace down at what point these attacks are coming from. We've had one attack Saturday, and then one today. I'm very sorry and I wish people had better things to do with their time than hack sites.

    You might want to put a link to the forums from the placeholder main BAF page while you're sorting stuff out, for people who don't have bookmarks to the forum lol

    odds are - the script-kiddies are actively hitting the site, but it is also possible that someone legit is accidentally injecting crap from their own -unknowingly-infected- computer...  if yall determine where the injections occur, and if it turns out to be a legit-account, then (if it were -me-) itd be nice to get a message about the problem (ie - fix my/your computer, please)...

    whatever - bummers that yall have to fight these battles...  gl, h.

    Unfortunately we're not able to tell where it's coming from at this point :(  I did do a lot of work today and I'm crossing my fingers that it won't happen anymore.. but to be honest... I'm not gonna be surprised if it happens again tomorrow.

    I guess I'll just have to wait and see :/

    Yes it is safe as no data has been extracted from our database. This malware is a scrip that gets inserted that posts spam into browsers. Hopefully it won't happen again, but I'm not holding my breath :(
