I have been thinking about getting my snug pierced, but i'm not to sure on it anymore DX

I was just wondering peoples thoughts on the piercing

What you should expect, having a needle shoved through your ear ^.^ Have fun.

LOL i just want feed back if the piercing is hard to heal if it bleeds alot that kind of stuff

Well, i havent had that piercing so hopefully someone who's had it will know, but i wouldnt think it would bleed. Ive NEVER had an ear piercing bleed. Ever, but thats me.

My daith bled alittle when i got it done, it's the only piercing that has bled on me so far

I used to want a snug piercing, but I just heard a lot of bad things...takes forever to heal (as with any cartlidge piercing), high rejection rate.... I'd go talk to your piercer, honestly.  They can tell you all about it.  Post pics if you get it!! :-D

 I'm guessing you have to have a very defined ridge of cartilage to be able to pull it off successfully. Like wissabo said, they have a high rejection rate; I think it's due to the fact that people get them without being anatomically suited for them.

Hmmmmm ya i tihnk i might just go ask my piercer about it, hearing that it has a high rejection rate kinda makes me not want it  DX, but i will go to my piercer and  ask her whats up with it :P

 I had my antihelix pierced in early Feb 2009. It did bleed a little during the piercing and a little bit after, while I was sleeping. I had a couple of bumps on it that I used a little bit of tea tree oil (to disinfect) and coconut oil (to lubricate) and the bumps went away pretty quickly. My ear was swollen for a while after I got the piercing and only went down about three months after the piercing. There is also a noticeable difference between my pierced and non pierced antihelix. My ear has had about seven months to recover now and looks to be doing pretty good, although I do need to clean it of dry skin and discharge about two times a week. I think a snug is a great alternative to the usual outer cartilage piercings or even a lobe. I want mine just where the 4th lobe would go.

 I have one. Healed like a dream except for a weird bump behind my ear for a month or so. Never really hurt, was just a red spot. 

 nothing really of note to speak of for healing. I was pierced with the size barbell I currently wear 2 years later, but I don't swell with piercings. And I know snugs can do that to ridiculous proportions. So, pierced with a 1/4" neometal curved barbell. healed in about 6 months (healed to the point where I could take it out for an hour for an MRI and not lose it). But past that time there was never pain, so I don't know if it was an initial healing level or fully healed.

Oh great..I swell ridicuosly(spelling?)...and on cartilage it lasts even when the piercing seems healed. '~'
