    Eyebrow bump.

Ive had my eyebrow pierced since April and had absolutely no issues with it at all! It was my easiest piercing as far as smooth healing, etc. But about 2 weeks ago, I think i accidently hit it and then there was  this little bump at the top of my piercing next to it that popped up. It looked like it was just swollen and irritated from the trauma. A few days later, it was there but getting smaller. I kept flushing it with saline and drying it well. I did a few SSS to help the swelling. I tried popping the little bump but all it did was bleed and now like 5 days later, I am left with a red bump like thing on the top of my piercing (as shown on pic). It looks like a little red blood filled bump. I dont wanna mess with it anymore. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Re: Eyebrow bump.

You've got all kinds of bumps going on Tongue Tied! Hands off, no more attempting to pop it, and baby it. It's likely that the tissue is just really pissed off and probably torn from you bumping it, so I'd just baby the hell out of it for awhile (but don't overdo sss or cleaning!). On the other hand, it could very well be hypertrophic scarring that's forming because of the trauma to the piercing and perhaps the movement of jewelry. I personally would do a salt soak or two a day and otherwise leave it alone for a week or two longer, then get advice from your piercer. Also, be sure that whatever you wash your face/ hair with isn't coming into contact with it, and rinse very well after showering/washing your face/whatever.

Does it look like the actual hole on top is bigger??  If you bumped it, could it have torn the skin?  Like stretched the hole some?  And, yeah....what jellybean said. heheBig Smile
