    Left lobe tear. ):

So, I was stretching from 2g - 0g, and in my right ear, it went in with almost no effort.

In my left ear, it took a little push to get the plug in, but it seemed like it wasn't a big deal, but about an hour later I felt some wetness on the back of my left lobe, and my finger was completely covered in blood.

I immediately took the plug out, and replaced it with a 2g eyelet and did a SSS.

My right ear is doing fine, but is there anything else I can do for my left lobe?

Also, would it be safe to maybe order some 1g eyelets?

If not, how long should I wait to restretch to a 0g in my left ear?

    11mm lobes. :)

Take both your plugs out and wait at the very least 6 months before even considering stretching again. read this: http://forums.bodyartforms.com/forums/t/5641.aspx

example: http://forums.bodyartforms.com/forums/p/25903/306915.aspx#306915 You were at 6g 17 days ago... slow your roll, dude.

Should I let the holes completely close up?

Or downsize to a certain size and sit there until my ear lobes are happy again?

I'm willing to do anything to make my lobes as healthy as possible, seeing how much I've screwed them up so far.

Just leave them naked for six months.

    Anything else?

Should I still continue with sea salt soaks to heal up the tear?

    Or vitamin E oil massages?

Yes, continue to SSS until the tear is healed, and when that happens, start massaging with an oil of your choice. If you want to APPLY an oil now, emu oil is the only one suitable for broken skin.

Thanks for the advice, I just took the right plug out, and I have some serious cat-butt.

Is there anything I can do about that?

Massages will help break down the scar tissue, but it may not remove all of it. Just give it time, it will not dissapear over night.

Good call on being willing to take the jewelry out though. Too many people get too attached to their goals and are willing to sacrifice the health of their ears to achieve them. Hopefully all the babying you do to your ears now and in the future will help the cat butt decrease and break up some of the accumulated scar tissue.

Alright, so my lobes are scabbing up like crazy.

What can I do to help that?

just keep up with the sss 2-3 times a day, but leave them alone otherwise and let them do thier thing.

and i HIGHLY recommend using emu oil when theyre healed, it will help strengthen the skin so that is a lot less likely to happen again.

Make sure you don't pick the scabs!  I would treat it like a new piercing and just LITHA until its all healed up.

Also be sure to rinse your lobes off after doing a SSS to remove all the salt traces.

I would personally start using emu oil now. Emu oil is safe to use on open wounds and can really help skin heal, so applying it with a q-tip (do not massage it in) might help some of the itchiness and dryness that can accompany healing.

    What's LITHA?

And, I have vitamin E oil. Is that okay to use?
