Last week I lost my 12 g black niobium septum retainer in my sleep. I was in the shower when I noticed it missing. I blew my nose and felt something hard go down my throat. I hope that's where it went anyway. I had no more 12 g retainers so had to downsize to a 14g I had laying around. Today I put in my brand new Gorrila Glass 12g . Sorry Glasswear, but your retainers suck. The retainer had an angle which hurt a little but I figured it be less likely to fall out than the rounded black niobium. And that's all I have to say about that. It feels a little like a fresh stretch, but all and all it feels good.

Ugh I finally got septum funk. Its a really loose 10g now, and I like to poke at it a lot. I'm in need of an earskin or something because this is not a smell I'm used to having up my nose haha

It was the niobium retainer I think I swallowed. I felt the exact moment after blowing my nose in the shower something going down my throat. I think if it went down my trachea, I'd be coughing like mad at that moment. Right now I'm just taking the wait and see approach. If I suddenly develop pneumonia I'm getting that chest x-ray!
Sorry, I misread. Thought you lost the glass one, but that's what you have in NOW. Yeah, though it's pretty small, you'd probably be coughing. I'd just wait...you probably just swallowed it. :-D Let us know!
It's too small to feel it coming out the other end. lol
