Was it of your head or face?  If it was below your head, it wouldn't have mattered if you had it in.  Metal wouldn't hurt you in a CT scanner, it just messes up the image.  But, yeah, you did the right thing...no sense arguing with them. :-D

 Lobes, happy as always. Nostrils and septum relatively okay, allergies are a bitch today so they're a bit unhappy. Industrial is calm, daith is a wee bit crusty. Brand new nipples are sore and crutsy as expected.

 My lobes have been really nice the last few days! It's like a month to the day since I stretched to 8g, and I've noticed that very recently massaging holey buttr on em is just... nicer and softer in general lol. Getting looser too, I didn't need to wear o-rings on my glass claws before, but now they kinda rotate around a little if I don't have rings on the back. I have 6g SF glass plugs arriving in the mail soon... Gonna have to try hard keeping up my patience! lol

My lip tho still gets crusty in the mornings sometimes, its about 5-6 weeks old now I think. I tried wearing a plain round ring in it yesterday too, but it was just too uncomfortable! I think I'm gonna need a D-ring if I'm gonna wear a ring at all...

my lobes have been a bit complain-y today...  i tried to get some (im guessing slightly-large 0g) wood hoops in without having my emu oil handy...  it took a good-long-while (10 mins?) while a passenger in the car...  when i get home ill try finding some emu-oil and lubing them up before taking them out for the evening...  other than that kinda pulled-and-filled feeling, the pierces are doing well...

and yes, like the what-are-you-wearing-today-thread; this is kinda cool...  kinda an excuse to check-in on all the multiple pierces (if youve got em) just to make sure everything looks/feels good...  and decide whether it is a litha-day or not... 

I fell asleep watching TV last night and left my plugs in, so my left plug ended up flipping upside down and I basically slept on it against the rather hard arm of my sofa. I believe some tearing has actually occurred slightly :(

 My lobes love the buttr too. I've been playing with the idea of getting some Naked oil and will probably need some for when I try putting earskins in but for now buttr is all I need

 My lobes are doing great at a new 7/16", I love glass. I can't wait until I can wear earskins again though.

 My inner conch punch is healing extremely well for only being a few weeks old.  It never got swollen, red, or sore after it was punched.  My body is acting like its always been there, except for the crusties that I'm doing all I can to not pick at.  I blame this on a really good piercer, the lovely glass jewelry, and the LITHA healing method.  

I've decided that I really like the way my poorly done sternum surface piercing has scarred up, since I took it out like 10 months ago.  They're nice little circular indents that are a slightly different color than the rest of my chest skin.  I can already tell this is going to make me want some scarification work done eventually. 

My conch has been hurting today!  I guess I slept funny on it last night...booo

 THat sucks. My septum is smelling today.

 I managed to hit my new vch with the razor while in the shower...yeouch. On a happier note, I can FINALLY wear my 4g df opalites (now that I'm at a healed 2g)!
