    Inverse navel;

    Hey, been a while since I posted. :)

    Now that my inverse navel is totally healed, the stretching process shall commence! It's at 14g, and I want it to be 6g. It's 10mm (3/8") deep and hasn't migrated at all (It's about two years old and pierced at this length), I was just curious if the further you stretch, the shorter the wearable surface becomes? I really wouldn't want to wear even 8mm long jewellery no matter what gauge. I mean my common sense tells me of course it would, seeing as the further you stretch a lobe the thinner it becomes.

     Some opinions or experiences will be appreciated please.

    will work for love.

    According to the Piercing Bible, as long as you wait at least nine months between stretches, and you have plenty of tissue between the entry and exit holes, you shouldn't have any problems. It shouldn't get any thinner as long as you're really patient and use correct jewerly and emu oil.  Good luck.

     massaging the tissue also helps stimulate blood flow and cell growth. my navel started to migrate and got a little thinner than i felt comfortable with it, so i massaged it every day with emu oil and stopped sleeping on my stomach (cause of migration) and i went from wearing 1/4 lenghted jewelry to 5/16. i would massage it a little bit every day before and after streching.
