ill agree about the lol - but not on the blowout... ive already mentioned my personal experience elsewhere - and since the OP is gonna do whatever they want - really, ill just try and address the original questions...
1 - as everyone has said - take out the DF - that was not a good idea...
2 - drop back to the 4g (or 6g) and 'wait it out' until you can pull the o-ring thru like you did with the other stretches... do NOT resort to a taper to try and work that 2g DF into your ear... even if you DO get it in, the ear will prolly close-up around it and then youll never be able to get it out and itll be a mess...
3 - assuming you get to the 4g and are able to 'pull the o-ring thru' again (in a few weeks), then go up to a SINGLE flare 2g... look at a sizing chart - right around 2g - the jumps start getting bigger than they were down in the 6/8/10 region...
4 - once the 2g SF is at the 'o-ring pulling' stage... go to a 1g... yes, i said 1g... do not try 0g... that is too big of a jump... 1g - or start taping your 2g...
5 - you get the idea now, basically - you have to wait some more... and stretch slow enough to heal... take the 2g DF and put the flare onto your gauge-card and see just how big it is - it is probably a 0g or maybe more... thus - your lobes will need to be able to handle (easily - because this is bone, not metal or glass) the flare-gauge and be healed correctly or the bone will start 'reacting' with your body - probably...
