Because these plugs run in odd sizes (like 4g 5/16" or 2g 3/8") I'm not really sure which size I should purchase? I'm at a 2g as of now and don't want to go any larger so a li'l help please?!

the 3/8" refers to how long the plug is, not the gauge.
