    Conch piercing - pain?

Hello! I'm thinking of getting a conch piercing... (the kind that goes around the lobe, not inner ear - I've seen both called conch.) I already have a septum, my lobes are stretched, and my piercer is really good... but I'm wondering, is this going to hurt? I looked it up and it seems people say it's either the worst thing ever or didn't feel a thing. Which is it? =/ Thanks

Both... pain is different for everyone... No two people feel the same thing in the same way...

    Im just that awesome!

Yeah, this is true. I guess I was just wondering if there's any sort of consensus? Because I know with a septum, if it's done right, it's not so bad. Done wrong, horrible. Mine was just fine, really didn't hurt much at all. Is the conch like this, too, at all?

i dont have a flat, but i have an inner conch. and it was pretty bad, but not unbearable. Alot of pressure, then it was relieved. Ive had good luck with my punch. You will like it.

Go for a punch, it'll heal faster.

My inner conch punches didn't feel like a tickle, but they were totally worth sitting getting.

out of 20 some piercings, my inner conch was by farrrrr the worst. for most of my piercings, i didnt even flinch. when i had my conch done, i turned green and came within an inch of passing out. maybe thats because it was done with a 12g needle, shoulda had it punched, but either way it was really really bad. Comparable to childbirth, ear style id say. But remember, everyone is different, it might be minimal pain for you.

    14g tongue, 14g septum, 7/16 lobes, 12g lobes, 16g conch, tattoos x3

They're talking about Dermal punches, or biopsy punches. People use them mostly for going huge with cartilage piercings immediately, like so:

Getting the piercing didn't hurt for me. But when I went outside and the wind was blowing at my ear it was really painful. It didn't hurt unless it was touched.

Get it punched.  I had my flat (we ARE talking about a flat, right? the whole goes-around-your-lobe thing threw me off) pierced at a 10g, and it was one of the worst pains of my life.  My conch punch, however, was a total breeze.

Wait! Is the flat where Eric has his or is it up at the top? I've been watching this thread, too, to get some insight because I want mine punched.

Eric, did you get yours punched at that size? That's exactly how big I want mine.
