    Spiral Suggestions?

    Hello!

My partner is looking to get an ear pierced 3 times, and (eventually) have the holes threaded by some  sort of spiral/corkscrew earring that hugs the ear tight.

Any one done this? Thoughts, suggestions?

    Thanks.

    ~E.

I had one done and I couldn't sleep on that side afterward, it hurt too much.

She can get them pierced and put three barbells in them also, and then put the spiral in when it's healed, like this http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?ProductID=2202,. they're made of stainless steel and are flexible. It could put some stress off the healing piercings, especially if we're talking about cartilage.

Sweet.  Its now on my favorites.  Good idea 'bout doing the barbells first.  She's been talking about it, and its not often ya get to be a postive enabler. ;)

The piercings would have to be placed exactly right, or else (s)he would have to get jewelry custom made, which can be pretty expensive.

not nececarily. the spirals that baf has aren't that hard to bend. if one of the holes is a little off or if the jewlery spirals are then i'm pretty sure any competent piercer could bend them a little to get it to fit right.
