I stretched my second holes to 2g, and one of those holes got a blow-out. It's built up scar tissue over time, and I was very concerned it was going to be this big ugly lump forever. However, I've found something that seems to be helping. Very slowly, but it's better than nothing. I've bought some pure Vitamin E oil, and I apply it to the scar tissue, then massage it in fairly hard. It's definitely not comfortable, and is often at least a little painful. It's like a deep-tissue massage, which is often used to break up a person's scar tissue to help their body absorb it, and I've been told very painful but effective. Afterwards, I will put hot water on a cloth and massage the lump hard again to help encourage blood flow. Again, I use enough pressure to make it uncomfortable, otherwise I'm just rolling the tissue between my fingers. I find my ear is puffy and red afterwards, but when that subsides, I find the lump is a small bit softer. I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I certainly hope so. It was a big relief to me to see that maybe I didn't have to live with it forever.
