Because things cost money to craft.

Those are quality-made products, not cheap garbage that you'd find in a shopping mall. Materials and craftsmanship contribute to the cost of jewelry.

they are made of higher quality of materials and they don't pay their workers $2 a day to pump the stuff out.  

The quality is well worth it.  

if you want them but a little cheaper, look at jewelry exchanges on IAM or LJ.  every once in a while people sell their used blings.

 *drool* I don't own those but I do own blings made by them.  Honestly some of the better jewelry I own.  I personally prefer their polish better than anatometals. 

I know there are a few people who post here that have those specifically, I'm still saving my pennies for a gemmed version of them.

 I've spent well over a hundred on various pairs of jewelry because of the quality and craftsmenship. They're all very beautiful, intricately carved, well polished, etc. I'm not willing to spend a lot unless I believe it is worth the price. There are many items I feel are over priced, but I purchase the ones I deem worthy of the high cost.

Really.. jewelry for stretched lobes is no different than any other jewelry.  People will splurge for a one of kind or well-made piece.

I for one... am soooo looking forward to getting up to 4g so I can get a pair of blings!

hand made. Hand polished. The polish is perfect, including inside of the circles. These are exact from piece to piece.  

I'm pretty positive that Lilitha has a pair of those and they're gorgeous in-ear. I would have a hard time spending that much on plugs though. In the end if I had that much money to drop I'd just buy a butt load of plugs instead of just one pair. The most money I've ever spent on plugs was for a pair of 0g Anatometal gemmed eyelets and imo they were worth every penny.

It's no different than paying 10x more for a Range Rover than you would for a Kia...
