You'll most likely be able to feel hardened or uneven tissue around or in your piercing holes. You may also see a fair degree of wrinkling of the tissue.

Is there any particular reason why you think you may have scar tissue? Were you pierced with a gun? Did you stretch hurriedly? Did you have a tear?

That depends upon your stretching time line, how long did you wait to heal from the initial piercing and how long did you wait between stretches?

You can downsize and oil massage your lobes, but if you stretched way too quickly a majority of the damage may be irreversible. Do you have photos of your lobes without jewelry?

Scar tissue greatly decreases the elasticity of tissue, this can greatly hinder future stretching.

You didn't answer my previous question regarding stretching time line. How fast is "kinda fast" to you? Was there pain, blood, or lymph involved in any of the stretching events? Did you skip sizes? All of these questions can ultimately help board members let you know if there is a high likelihood of scarring in your case.

well it took me like a yearish to get from nothing to 0 gauge i never skipped any sizes....sometimes pain...not much...and there was blood after the zero gauge stretch because when i tried to chase some threaded tunnels into my ear the threads cut my ear and they bled.

Blood  is never a good sign after stretching.

If you could change anything, what would you change.

yeah but it wasn't from the stretch the stupid tunnel cut my ear.

Nonetheless, blood probably means a tear, or cut, which means you should downsize, and baby the piercing for a while before you think about stretching again.

If you could change anything, what would you change.

Downsize and massage with whatever oil you'd like in order to break down as much scar tissue as you can. It's not necessarily the oil, but the act of massaging that helps scar tissue to decrease because of the increased blood flow to the area, and really working the oil in to soften it. The less scar tissue you have, the more elastic your ears will be. Ever notice how scar doesn't stretch like the rest of your skin?
