So I was browsing BMEshop and I noticed that the colour chart for their Gorilla Glass products shows their purple jewelry as being a nice, deep, royal purple-but on BAF every pic of purple glass has been a drab mauve colour Does anyone know why the two sites are inconsistent? Better yet, has anyone actually bought purple GG from BMEshop and received the darker purple?

I'm assuming all Gorilla Glass is going to look about the same unless there was a color reformulation, which I do not believe occured for the solid colors. Recently the power plugs under went some changes, but I'm assuming that you meant the solid color plugs. In that case, the BAF lighting accurately displays the coloring.

My purple from BAF is slightly different depending upon gauge. Here is a 4 gauge solid pair in ear:

I think my two gauge pair is ever so slightly lighter than the fours. Also, if you're looking for a deep opaque purple color, try the magenta/cranberry that Gorilla Glass is going to be coming out with. I've snagged a few pairs as seconds before their coloring was 'perfected' and I love them dearly.

 I have 0g forks, and they were the lighter colour. I wouldn't call them drab though- they are quite lovely.

Every picture I've seen has always been the lighter purple except on BMEshop- I always wondered about that too. Perhaps they just pumped up the saturation on the picture or something? No idea!

Also! [squeals at Axon's post] They're going to make magenta available now! Eeep! Excited!

 I got a purple super spiral in 4g from the free bin, and the color was a very murky mauve, but I'm assuming the color was very off and that's why it was free. I like the bright purple better too, it just depends on what you're going for. The mauve color is pretty too. You could always contact BAF and ask them if they have any of the bright purple in stock or if it is all the less bright version?
