Anything from sleeping to leaning on it for too long can make it tingle with sharp pains. I usually just try not to touch it and put tea tree oil on it, although I know there's a lot of controversy around tea tree oil, but it works for me.

Re: Question about an industrial. That got it pretty angry, lol, but that's the only time it has become angry. It also doesn't like jewelry that's too long, like wearing 1 1/2" ones when I should be wearing 1 1/4"

Sometimes it helps to put flexible jewelry in, like PTFE ofr bioplast. I've never tried using separate jewelry before.

Re: Question about an industrial. It could help keep it from getting knocked around a bit.

It's just notoriously fussy. Bumping or sleeping on it will piss it off. Its so easy to knock one side and the whole thing just gets angry... Just tell your friend to soak it and treat it like a new piercing, and not to change the jewelry again for a while.

Re: Question about an industrial. They had healed it completely and introduced a better stainless steel and about 2 or 3 months later, without warning it began to hurt. No swelling or anything of the sort, just pain. Any recomendations like oils? Thansk in advance everyone!
