My lobes love it and it really helped to heal them up nicely.   &lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d agree that I&amp;#39;ve never noticed an odor either, but I have heard more than a few people say that this is something that turns them off to emu oil. Maybe different batches have different smells? Also, jojoba oil shouldn&amp;#39;t really have a strong noticeable smell, since it&amp;#39;s often used as a &amp;quot;base oil&amp;quot; for essential oils (to make massage oils, etc). &lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d agree that I&amp;#39;ve never noticed an odor either, but I have heard more than a few people say that this is something that turns them off to emu oil. Maybe different batches have different smells? Also, jojoba oil shouldn&amp;#39;t really have a strong noticeable smell, since it&amp;#39;s often used as a &amp;quot;base oil&amp;quot; for essential oils (to make massage oils, etc). They (oils) can go bad so I would make sure what you&amp;#39;re using isn&amp;#39;t just old and rancid, thus causing the odor. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
