This is a game that I found out about from another forum I'm on. It's called TPBM(The Person Below Me). It's not really a game, more like a way to find out more about people. Here's how it works...I start it out by saying something like....

Me: TPBM likes eating pizza?

Next poster: No I hate it. TPBM needs a shower?

Next poster: Yes! TPBM is stretching a piercing this week?

And so on and so on. It's all about asking random questions! You just keep it going and going.

I'll start with.......TPBM is tired and needs to go to bed?

What Really Grinds My Gears

Constantly, everyday, there are things that come up that really grind my gears. Unlike Peter Griffin, Lindsay Lohan's boobs don't grind my gears, but the lack of a turning signal while driving grinds my gears. Or when you go out of your way to get a Green Tea Frap but the ice machine is broken therefore no Frappucino's for the day.

So, what really grinds everyone elses gears?

My god, what's up with this?

From what I've heard, in order to prevent people from burning themselves alive by smoking in their houses, they've now put what is known as an "ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion based adhesive" (which is fancy talk for carpet glue) between 2 or 3 layers of thicker paper on cigarettes. Wow.

What does everyone else think?

We all know what you (and I and everyone else) are mildly irritated by, facepalm over, absolutely hate, or want to commit murder over.

What makes you happy, jump up and down, or maybe just giggle? So, how about it? Spread some positive energy.

Personally, I absolutely love the library. Even when I have to sit in the same place for hours (because I'm a fabulous procrastinator) I don't mind it if I'm in a desk surrounded by thousands of books.

I love it when people do nice things for people they don't know (or for people they do know, for that matter). At work one evening a few months ago, a middle-aged couple was just about to pay their check when a younger couple came in and sat down behind them. The older man told me to take their check back, add a dessert to it, and give the dessert to the young couple at the end of their meal. That just made my entire night, and I didn't even really benefit from it at all.

Fuzzy blankets are pretty great too :)

This may seem stupid, but I thought it might be fun for us to post what goofy thing you're having for dinner/lunch. I'm always looking for new things to eat that dont really have a recipe, per-say.. I dont mean like, "I'm having a hot pocket", either. I mean things you're actually putting together.

for example:

for dinner tonight I'm having a wrap made with ham, turkey, bacon-ranch dressing, a string cheese (peeled in a bunch of pieces, of course..) and fresh spinach in a tomato/olive oil tortilla, and some costco-brand strawberry yogurt that I stuck in the freezer a while ago.

I'm interested in seeing what kinds of combinations people put together and getting some new ideas.

I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler with 35"x12.5" Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs. I lifted it like 5 years ago, and I haven't changed the tires since!! GOOD TIRES!!

Ok I had an appointment to get my septum pierced today however due to small misshape my son had at school. I rescheduled it for next week though.

However so I would not be a complete dink I am including pics of Gingers kitten.

She is the cat I took in and turned out to preggers with three kittens. Ginger had some difficulties delivering (after rushing her to the emergency vet only one kitten survived). She is a total cutie and is spunky as all get out! I am trying to pick out a name for her though. My son and I came up with Peetree (from Land before time) or Spunky (from Rocko’s modern life) or Kimchi from another cartoon my son adores.

Is anyone here superstitious? Tell us about your strange habits and superstitions!

I don't know why but I am. I know in my head it's ridiculous, but I do things like throwing salt over my shoulder, can't walk under ladders (which actually is common sense, lol), and feel like black cats are good luck for me. There's plenty more. What's yours?

Oh, and if breaking mirrors is actually 7 years of bad luck, I'm doomed for life!

Hello BAF! Haven't been here in way to long!

The few that may remember me, Amanda, Bob, Quinn, Ann, Jager, Nikuki, and Myriah off the top of my head, hope you are all doing well! I see a lot of new (to me) faces, so hello to all of you as well. I've been extremely busy the last few years with starting a business, relationships, etc etc but I am back for good I hope! Looking forward to catching up with the bodymod community as I'm sure I've missed a ton.

Haven't gotten any new piercings or ink since my parting, but that will change as soon as I decide what I want. Also, I'm a chat whore so I will be in the chatroom a lot in case any of you feel like joining!

Well, I haven't been on here in quite a while. So I thought I would give you all an update of my life. I am going through a divorce. Which, for all of you that remember me, isn't that surprising. I did the leaving, it is definately for the best. So I am in the process of rebuilding my life. All good thoughts are appreciated.

As far as light-hearted things, I have stretched my lobes to 1/2" and my second holes are at 6g going to 4g soon. But I retired my nape a little over a year ago. I decided to pre order some new jewelry for it, because the one that I was pierced with was around 4 years old and was too long. Apparantly my nape didn't think that was such a good idea. Within a week it started to reject. I was pretty upset, but it healed up really nicely.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick pdate and to say hi to everyone!

Vegetarian and vegan recipes?

I know there are a fair amount of vegetarian/vegan people here, and I was wondering if you all would post some of your favorite recipes here? Complicated ones are fine- I love to cook!

Here's one I made last nite:

Ingredients

3 cup rice milk

1 cup short grain rice (arborio,
1 sweet, etc)
3 bananas, mashed (i assume
1 they meant to say very ripe
1 bananas)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves

2 TBL honey or maple syrup

Directions

Preheat over to 350F. Mix all together well and pour into a 1 1/2 qt
casserole. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until
rice is tender. Makes 4 cups.

I actually used brown rice for mine. I had to add about 1/2 cup more rice milk and bake for an extra 45 minutes. This is awesome for breakfast, since it has a consistency similar to oatmeal.
