I'm alwase interested in a good laugh (or a good tear) at stupid people who know nothing about stretching, yet still go ahead and do it.

I'll start off with a small story of mine.

I was out with my aunt on the beach with her friend and his 'younger' friends. I was eighteen at the time and younger kids were about forteen or fifteen. Anyway, we go back to his place and i am showing them my 1/2" ears, the one 'punk' kid as he refered to himself seemed very interested and asked how i did it. I explained you use tapers to slowly go to larger sizes. After a while of explaining stuff to him (he really didnt get the point of 'you have to go slow and use proper equipment' he goes into the bathroom and uses a piece of wire to stretch his ear. I didnt even know he did it untill he came in with a snipped piece of wire in his ear..and it was bleeding. The kid left it in (didnt even have a larger piece of jewelry)..and i just shook my head and told him it was going to get infected. Of course he didnt believe me....

Anyone else have any stories like these?

I'm a story like this. I was awful to my ears, but i learned a hell of a lot about myself and my pain tolerance. Lukily, nothing got infected. I wore, you know those skewers you get in chinese take home orders of satay, in my ears until they began to rot from the moisture of my ear. I wore carved down colored pencils until the color wore off in my fitsula and it too began to rot. I pushed shit through my ears that were clearly too big and wasn't tapered causing great pressure on a little ring of skin outside of the already stretched hole. I self pierced my helix 3 times with an alcohol cleaned 18 g sewing needle putting in a little 18 g stud and having it reject 3 x. I finally got my cart to stick by piercing it w/an 18 g sewing needle, then immediatly "tapering" it with an embroidery needle to 12 g. I've self-pierced my navel (top and bottom), my nipples many many times (part of play piercing as well as the time i kept jewelry in for a while). Of course I used the same 18 g needle for all of these projects. I'm good at not getting infections i geuss. I'm still young, and i still do stupid shit like this, but i know the possible bad outcomes. Doing dumb things is part of growing up i geuss.

it was fun. I 'm glad y'all aren't like "that was dumb", because honestly, being dumb is part of growing up and is the best way to learn. I really dislike it when people tell youngings that they are tards for experimenting. I've learned from my mistakes...but i can't say that my actions really piss me off now. I'm at peace with them i guess.

Oh yea, there's a great and hilarious artcle on bmezine.com about some of the nasty, rude, suicidal, and other stuff that people do in term of BM. It was published not too long ago. I forget the exact title, was it "nasty, nasty clients" or sumthing?

I've read that one, very distrubing. I don't have any stories like those per se, but yesterday one of the women I work with asked when did I get all this done? I looked at her puzzled and she pointed to her ears. She really never noticed my 14G flat and my 2 G lobe which at that time had a bright red Kaos eyelet in it. I have worked with this woman for 3 years. She also didn't notice when I got my industrial. SHe was very curious about how my Hole was that big, so I enlightened her

yeah, only 2 ppl noticed i got my nose pierced... heh

i was selling some jewelry to a middle-aged lady at target and she asked about the earrings i was wearing... i'm like, they're not normal earrings, they're bigger. and i said "dont' get grossed out" and i took them out to show her. she was totally fascinated by it. i was pleasantly surprised by her reaction.

Why can't more people be that understanding? And as for doing stupid stuff.... i've made a fair share of mistakes myself. About four years ago I, for some crazy reason, pierced my nose with a pircing stud. I didn't leave it in for very long but still, it was a pretty stupid thing to do.

Today this girl I know told me that she pierced her own nipple! she put in a 14g barbell. I was even more surprised when she showed me! Took me by surprise because we were in the hall way at school right we were chsnging classese[:-bigeyes]

oh yes..I never did pierce myself with stupid shit..I didnt do my own piercings till my apprenticeship started. I did however pierce my FRIENDS ears one time

I was 16 I belive, all stoned and highly intoxicated on w/e we could get our hands on back then. My good friend comes in from the garage, wanting his lobes pierced. My other friend goes OK LETS USE A HAMMER AND NAIL! I start laughing nonstop and he goes OK LETS DO IT! So all of us trek out into the garage and he laid his ear there while my friend drove the nail through his ear and into the table..He was screaming his head off and trying to get away but he couldnt cuz he was pinned by the ear. We all just left for a bit and went skateboarding then came back and pulled it out for him. Never did get infected though.

Wow, you left a nail in your friends ear while you went skateboarding. That is mean.

My friend Cathy has pierced each ear 7 times with safety pins. She pierces other peoples ears occasionally too. Once I was on the phone with her and she said 'OW! my earing just tore through my ear!' And she asked if that was bad and i told her it was and she might need to go to the hospital to get it stiched up but ididn't know because I couldn't see her. and she saqid ' well, do you think i could just stich it up I got some thread in my room." Gosh she's dumb sometimes but I heart her anyway.

See, that's where i draw the line. People have the right to experiment on themselves, but when you don't know shit and are aware of your lack of knowledge, don't pierce others!!! It's just that, you have the right to fuck yourself, but don't touch me. I know, i know, usually your friends agree and want you to do it, but come on, use common sense and be responsible.

A nail through the lobe doesnt really qualify as a piercing.

try going to bme/hard, some people like to nail their sack to a board.

my friend got his ears pierced with a corncob squer (sp) and left 14g rings in for one night. the next day used a 4g taper and stretched to an 8g in one ear, then put a toothpick in the other ear. 2 days later stretched with the 4g taper to 4g in both ears. a day later stretched to a 0g with a pen and put in 0g kaos eyelets. 1 week, went from nothing to a 0. very red, very sore, but no infections, no blowout, no tearing. nothing. i looked at his holes today and they are perfectly circular. i have no idea how that is even possible.
