I'm using duct tape on my hand to hold the splint on my thumb, and my beloved mommy found tie dyed duct tape!!! I love it!

Oh no, what happened to your thumb?

I broke it and I don't even know how!! It just kind of started hurting and I noticed it was reeeally big and blue.

Edit: Kathy, that's terrible, I'm sorry.

Dani, there could be so many factors in those tests, who knows? I have a hard time believing you're dumb, and even if you are, that shouldn't stop you from trying to be whatever you want to be. When it comes to that, it doesn't matter how "smart" you are according to a ridiculous test, it matters how much determination and passion you have to learn whatever it is you want to learn. Good luck, lady (not that you'll need it! Big Smile)!!

"We're homeless!" Chuck said, bouncing. "Now we can sleep on the beach and eat garbage!"

Piercings: 2 helix piercings, 12 mm lobes, 10g nipp, 8g septum

I really want to buy Tekken 6, but am still unsure on the investment because I'm thinking to myself, "how often am I REALLY going to play it?"

Don't get me wrong, I love playing it.  The scenario campaign mode is very fun, but I only use one character (Julia Chang) and usually don't have the balls to play games on Xbox Live...

Also, I'm definitely going to buy Left 4 Dead 2  Big Smile

00g lobes; 18g right helix; 16g left rook; 12g left conch; 8g tongue; 18g double nostrils; 14g septum

Ink: Simba on right shoulder blade; Daisy behind left ear; Sugar Skull on right forearm

    Do want.

Dani, I went to a community college for 3 years and got my AA (a transfer degree that is accepted at all of the state colleges and universities as the undergrad core) and then transfered to the university spent 3 years there and got my bachelors and graduated with honors. I must say that the quality of education at the community college was far superior than the large university and I whole heartidly reccomend trying this route. I found my passion, botany, during my second year at the community college and would not trade this experience for anything!

    2g, 8g and 12g lobes, 4 tattoos

Also, getting your general education done at a CC increases your odds at getting accepted to other schools.

Also take both the SAT and ACT they are slightly different and most people will do better on one than the other, I did very well on the ACT vs the SAT...

We're putting my dog to sleep tomorrow at 9am. I feel bad for many different reasons. I've already grieved (because we thought we were gunna have to do this before) so I'm not super upset right now. I'm just kind of ready for a playful dog and I feel so bad about it.

DON'T FEEL BAD!!  I'm sorry you have to go through this, but, like the old cliche goes, it's better this way, ya know?  Hang in there...

Re: The Thread of all Threads

I can't really afford to take it again. And my scores wouldn't be into the college until they already reject/accept me if I take it at the next test date still open. I have a back up plan, it's really not that bad. I was just really disappointed and freaked out a bit last night.

The score isn't what I wanted, but it's not a bad score. It's just that I don't have the greatest grades and no extra curriculars so I was totally relying on that score and my essay. I just would've felt more comfortable if it was a few points  higher.

Theres a program that pays for the SAT the first time you take it, but it has to be the first time... Even if you're behind where you wanna be its still worth trying! I didnt start going to a university until I was 21...

    Im just that awesome!

Some schools don't even require the SAT.  I went to University of Louisiana at Monroe, and they were only worried about ACT scores.  So I took the SAT for nothing!  Look around at schools...I don't know if it's just a Louisiana thing or if other schools only take ACT scores, too.
