Alyssa says 'doooo eeeeet':
it's very common
opinion that he's a great bruce and a shitty batman. dark knight had
the best 10 endings in one movie i've ever seen.
our theater
has 24 screens and 10 of them were dedicated to the midnight showing.
the theater is huge (obvs), and has 2 entrances, but only 1 exit. ONE.
each screening room could hold at least 250 people. and all 10 rooms
sold out. i sat in the parking lot until 3:30 am, and i needed to be up
for work at 7 am. some really smrt people decided to jump curbs out
onto the high way and go out the entrance-only ramp that comes off the
high way. the cops had to put a squad car on the ramp to keep people
from doing that. the best part is that the theater is being an imax
theater soon, which will mean more traffic than they already have, and
they'll still only have one exit. wonderful.
Well, I didn't mean he was shitty, he was pretty good.
The
theater I went to had 9 screens for Dark Knight. When I got there, 3
hours before the movie, 5 of the 9 were sold out. All of them were by
the end of the night though. Thats crazy though! Some people are just
idiots.
Jess:I'd say he's a better Batman than the previous 3, tho. I mean really...Val Kilmer?! It's mostly just his Batman voice that gets a bit old for me, really. Aside from the sea of obnoxious scene kids, it really was a great time. Heath Ledger was fantastic for sure. It's really unfortunate they can't do more with his character in future movies.
It really is sad, I can't see anyone else playing the part. Honestly, if it wasn't for his death, I wouldn't have known he was even playing the part! He was that amazing. It felt like...the joker, playing the joker!
Who do you guys hope the next villian is? It's the Penguin all the way for me
