i hate how easily my ears stretch on their own. i cant go larger than a quarter according to chili's. im already at 3/4s. i ordered some blemished kaos last night, they should be here wednesday. i wouldnt mind my super stretchy earlobes if i didnt really like my job and wanted to rebel. they are actually pretty lenient about that sort of thing though so im lucky.

im sad. the girl who is training me at my job is leaving for california to be in that americorps thing. i liked her a lot. she was cuuuuute. and fairly nice. and she had the neo-hippy alternative thing going on that i find attractive. i made her a little drawing today of the US then a dot where we live, then another in nor-cal connected by a dotted line. it said 'you'll be a long way from home, but we *arrow pointing to our dot* will be waiting for you. have fun in california! -Jake' then i gave her a little plastic bag of buttons (she makes keychains with buttons. i have one.) and a little statue of buddha. and he looks like he's traveling with a pack on his back, so i gave it to her. i feel like a huge nerd. but she liked it.

I was at a gas station on New Years eve and was going in to pay and as soon as I walk in, this hick goes "EMO! holy shit, where's your journal?" and kept goin on. I'm trying to ignore him and then he starts walking over at me so I go around one of the isle things and tell him to get away from me. I pay, he walks out and I go to the restroom. I walked out, there he was. I go to my car and he's still goin so I say "come over here and say that" so he gets right up in my face and I tell him you better watch yourself country boy and just stare right at him. He goes "you gonna hit me? are you about to hit me?" I didnt cause I dont know how many of his friends it would have taken to whip my ass, but I had a good idea of how many they'd use. So this other guy comes up and gets him away from me and I leave. The point of the story is, people in camo pants are assholes.

But it did give me a reason to put a bat back in my car
