I'm still at a measely 18 gauge, and I recently switched to some new rings. It's not the first time I've switched the rings, by the way.

Anyway, after about a day and a half, I noticed that there was a little bit of puss in the holes. I cleaned the puss out, cleaned the ears, and switched back to a pair of earrings that never gave me problems before.

Is the puss normal? Should I be worried about it? And if so, what's the best way to treat it?

puss is never normal. It indicates infection. You were probably noticing lymph.

lymph is normal.

Yeah, it was probably lymph. It didn't seem like normal puss, but I had no idea what else it could be.
