bigworm, I understand trying to save some money since blings are expensive but I don't think I could bear wearing them backwards if I had a pair. They're just too pretty to do that to them.

On the DF Bling Eyelets.... What does that back side look like? Reason for my question is this:

 I really like the blings but I also like just a plain DF eyelet. Due to the cost of both my thought is to purchase the blings that I'd like and then have the ability to wear them backwards when I want just the plain eyelet look. Does this make any sense?

If you had a picture of the backs of a larger pair of blings (I am at 1") and were willing to post I'd really appreciate it greatly and it would help me to decide what to do.

Kwaniesiam... I agree that they are GORGEOUS!! NO doubt! HOWEVER, to buy a pair of Blings AND a pair of plain Anatometal eyelets is just out of my budget at this time.

 I like the look of the plain, polished SS double flares for work as it is a simple yet elegant look. The BLING side would be worn just about all other times of the day. In my opinion I don't think I am doing any dis-service to Anatometal by making these lovelies into dual purpose earrings.

 Ok so now I have a question. What size to Blings go from this style, where like there is no overhang for the gems, to when the gems overhang on the front? If that makes sense. If not I can take a picture of mine and try to explain better

 And Bigworm, I flipped my old pair of blings around backward to see if they would work as regular eyelets. I couldn't stand it and flipped them back.

You know how Quinn's are all one fluid piece, the gems go on the metal and the metal basically goes back from both sides smootly into the flare? Well my 1/2 and my 9/16th pair are more like gems, biiiiiig swing back in to the middle from the outside of the gems then skinny metal back to the little flare. As in they aren't very well, I dunno I'm gonna have to take a picture haha. I know my piercer's does what I'm talking about and he is 7/8ths. I will take a picture after my classes.

One last effort. As in the gems aren't making the front flare bigger on Quinn's but they make the front flare bigger on mine.

Lmao, I was going to be like "um I still have no idea what you're saying!" until that last part, haha. I see what you mean now ... there's an extra spool-type flare for the smaller sizes (a bit of a saddle too, but mostly spool-ish), while on quinnn's, the whole thing is saddle-shaped. Yes?

Saddle! Yes thats the word I couldn't think of. So when do they start looking like that haha?

I'm contemplating ordering me a pair (9/16) , and don't want to end up with something that sticks
miles out of my ears.
