Rodger:How did you make the mock-up pics?
i did graphic design for a print center for a few years back making business cards and flyers and all types of stuff, so i brushed up on my skills and did my mock ups using Microsoft Publisher, and isolated the stones in photoshop. so far i only have it set up for 1/2" with 20 or 21 stones, it is kinda a pain to get the spacing correct, but i think i might set up blank mock ups for a few sizes, and i might do them for other people to occupy my time. but for now if anyone is wanting to do 1/2" mock ups and has publisher and knows how to use it, PM me and i can email you the file and the stone files as well.
Rodger:Hmm how about a black or cz between each color kinda pattern too? with 8 colors that's 7 black/cz in between the colors, and 2 on the end of the colors, so 17 gems total... then 3 extra at the top for a 20 gem eyelet?
roger, its funny, man i totally did like every single idea you could think of for a not to colorful rainbow, including this one. it does look nice, but didnt give me the separation i liked in some other designs. i think if i had like 40 or some other crazy number of stones to work with i could do something even awesomer, but for now, it just looked, meh.

and with all CZ's i felt it was just too girly for me haha

but both look really nice, just didnt give me the effect i wanted. i also did it where the extra stones were the other color (black for CZ, visa vursa) althouth, NOW with the newer stones, im considering making a tanzanite/champagne/mint design, maybe with an opel or something! oh and i still need to take teh 21st stone away from these but you get the idea.
woot this is fun though!
forgive me; i don't do forums often, correctly, or ever at all. but i do love me some BAF :)
