    Re: The girl's locker room

Hey, as a big boobed lady who had straight As in high school and is graduating top of the class in civil engineering in a few weeks I take offense to all the big boobs = dumbass remarks!! :)

Also, I had to have a reduction over the summer and they are still huge! My back doesn't hurt anymore though so that is good. And I can buy bras easier than before that actually fit. Oh and shirts. My clothing options have increased greatly, its wonderful after years of not being able to wear girls shirts.

And on to periods I guess, haha. I switched to one of those 3 month pill packs and I will never go back. Only having my period once every 3 months is one of the best things that ever happened to me hahaha. I used to get insane bad cramps the first day on my old BC and with this new one I don't even get them anymore AND I only have my period a couple times a year.

I haven't had my period in 17 months (pregnant, then breastfeeding)!

I am going to be so bummed when I get it back Sad

    Re: The girl's locker room

I hate bra shopping.  I'm about 5'8'' and 185lbs.   I'm 19, and my boobs are still growing at an alarming pace.  I was a 36C for 3 years, and now all the sudden I can only fit into 38DD bras.  They're kind of far apart ( I have wide shoulders) so even with that much boob I never have cleavage.  That does make it easy to wear tanktops and not look like a stripper though. I recently went bra shopping and all I can find at that size are pushup bras and bras with really flimsy cups and are old ladyish.   I need a ton and a half of support, but would still like pretty bras.  I wish my chest didn't hurt so much when I don't wear bras, because I'd just go without them if I could.

Pant shopping is annoying too.  I have big thighs and hips, and a smaller waist, so most pants suffocate my thighs, but fall down unless I wear a tight belt.  Also, a lot of stores don't make cute jeans in a size 16, or at all.

Bathing suit shopping has never been successful for me and I don't have one that fits.   My torso is too long for most one piece styles and I look indecent in bikinis because I'm very curvy and look like my bum and boobies are popping out of everything.  Tankinis also end up being uncomfortable and not long enough.

Ever since getting a copper IUD put in a yearish ago, I've had really heavy periods with tons of really bad cramps.  Anyone else have one?

I hate all the stretch marks on my boobs. I went from totally flat to a 36 C in 3 months between 5th and 6th grade. I'm now about a 40 DD-DDD depending on the make. I'm only 19 and they're still growing too :(

Amber, I have the wide shoulder thing going on too. Despite being really curvy never have cleavage, ever. I don't wear low cut tops anyway, but its still frustrating if I were to ever want to. Have you checked Lane Bryant for pants? The RightFit jeans are supposed to have different cuts to solve the problem of big thighs and a smaller waist or a curvier bottom and big hips, etc. I have a pair that fit pretty well and also usually wear a size 16-18.

I hate the way I am shaped. I am 5'10 and about 165lbs, all of my weight is in my mid section so I can't wear low rise jeans or I get a terrible spare tire :( even when I was 130lbs a year ago, i still got it

Girl I'm 3 inches shorter and the same weight...midsection, too.  Damn bellyfat!!  ARGH!  Oh, and I went to dinner Saturday with a girlfriend and some of her friends, and one of the guys was talking about how gross 'muffintops' are.  I just sat up a little taller and pulled my shirt down... lol  Asshole.

I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

I am really oddly shaped imo... I am 5'5 175lbs, which would normally be on the larger side. But I don't gain my weight in my stomach. I still have a fairly flat stomach, I just have a big ass and boobs. I don't get it.

I wear "mom pants"- as my boss calls them. It really helps to conceal the muffin top!

I'm the same way. If all my weight weren't carried in my midsection I'd probably be 2-3 sizes smaller. It's not for lack of trying to lose it either, all the women in my family are shaped like that.

No way! lol... I have an odd story. When I was selling body jewlery, I went across the way to Cinnabon to get a water and the guy there was just STARING at me. It was really odd so I asked him why he was staring at me. He asked me if I was mixed, which I didn't know what he meant. So I asked. And he said, "like racially... because you are white, but you have the body of a black girl." Ummm... yeah, caught me off guard.

I hate shopping for pants!! I have to do research just to find pants that aren't low rise. Which really sucks cause I love skinny black jeans

I've definitely heard of that happening, but I don't have any personal experience with them. The thought is really enticing, but the only ones I've really heard about are made for people who have already had a child (and thus have more room in there, I guess). Also, I know I couldn't handle the heavy period thing...I'm spoiled by 4 years on the pill.

Speaking of birth control, apparently there's a new implant that's available (called Implanon), similar to the old Norplant. I had no idea that they had that again, and the thought of that is very tempting (since I don't know that I'll have children in the next five years). I met a girl who has it, its like a matchstick-sized plastic bar right under the skin on her inner bicep. You can feel it through the skin, which is really odd, and she said it was sore for a few says (they numb you to put it in), but it's supposed to last for 5 years. Anyone heard anything about it or have any experience with it?

Yes I have heard of this. When I went to my Dr and switched to the 3 month pack thing she explained it to me. From what I remember they sort of just inject the thing in your arm and its just like this little bendy white plastic tube. She told me it is good for 3 years, not 5. I was too scared of that so I did the different BC instead.

You're right, three years. I sure hope the girl who told me about it knows that Surprise...
