    Ready for Silicone?

So, I've searched for this, but all I found were answers about fresh stretches, not tears.  So, my little ear mishap (small tear(?) two days after 2g stretch--downsized to 8g, for those who don't know) was 15 days ago.  I've had no other problems with my ear, no redness, no pain, no swelling since then.  Could I try earskins ya think?  I don't want to rush anything, but I really miss wearing earskins.  What chya'll think!?

Edit:  Don't know what happened with my font..sorry bout that!

Give them a try if you think you've healed since the incident. If you have any problems, just pop them out and stick with glass or metal for a while longer.

I second Axon. They're likely ready now (and I know you take good care of your ears), so give them a shot! You're not an idiot, if anything doesn't feel right take them out, and I might not leave them in for days at a time...let those ears breathe!

Thanks!  Makes me feel good that ya'll think I'm good to my lobies! Big Smile

And, no worries...the longest I've work skins was like 2 days.  And they stunk when I took them out!  BLEGH!  I'll just try them for a couple hours at first.  But I gotta order some in 8g first!!

    Thanks, girls!

    Re: Ready for Silicone?

If I can piggyback this thread...my right ear punch is almost 6 months old...I know it can take a year to fully heal but would the fistula itself be ready for earskin? I'm aching to sleep on that ear again lol

    Three MDs back of neck
    3mm cartilage punch right ear
    orbital right ear 12ga

Benny, I think you're probably good to go...I'd repeat the same advice I gave Wissabo.
