I've seen some very cute pieces, but they are usually gold (expensive) OR the diameter is ridiculously large.

I wish there were more small diameter acrylic tapers, with different designs, like stripes. Just something other than barbells, which get boring really fast. And there's only so many retainers I can have :P

There's better stuff the bigger you go, but I think my cartilage wont let me go higher than 10g.

I personally don't have my septum pierced, but I searched 10g septum on BAF, and came up with these...

I know you said you're tired of retainers (right?) but those are kinda unusual...not your typical steel or clear glass.  I also really like the look of a curved barbell that's just the right lenght, so the balls are right at the top of your nostril.

BAF also has some CBRs and circular barbells that go down to like 5/16" diameter in 10g.  Just try searching...

 I like my bone and mother of pearl pinchers. There are also some glass pinchers that are pretty choice

 Id like to know what small gauge glass pinchers look like.

For example 10g or 8g.

 I really like those!  A LITTLE off topic, but I'm curious...is that pit in the center smaller than the rest, or is that how they measure the size of it?  (Like DFs plugs, kinda?)

 It's smaller than the listed gauge, tho you can get them unnotched too. It apparently doesn't cause any problems with jewelry removal tho, like say if the piercing downsized a tiny bit if you wore one for ages...
