I'd like to see what everyone's thoughts are on this. My left nostril
piercing is 2 months old, and has a bump on it after being seriously knocked in
the face by my son. I'm doing the SSS 2-3x/day with chamomile, and it's
gotten a lot better, but not completely gone. After the bump first
appeared, the piercer took my nose screw (stainless steel) out and
rebent it to account for the swelling. I've gone back and asked that it
be bent again so that it fits tighter now that the bump is much much
better, but he doesn't want to just yet. The nose screw is very loose
and it moves around easily, thus I think perpetuating the bump.
I have ordered a 1/4" NeoMetal Threadless Labret,
but it is 18g. The piece currently in is 20g. I didn't really want to
go up a size, but there's very little in 20g available, and no Neometal
labrets.
I wanted to ask here to get an idea of whether it is a good idea or not
to make this change, to a bigger size, when I already have a bump. The
screw is aggravating me, and I'm wondering if titanium would help it.
Thoughts?
