You said it!  It's gonna look like shit for a while.  And will look even grosser when the scabs really take over.  BLEGH!  I do not envy you!  But I'm really glad you took those out!  Just be patient.  Start soaks now, if you haven't already.  Good luck!  Keep us updated!

If its any consolation, it looks better than before with the silicone eyelet in.

Best of luck with the healing process, be patient and baby your ears, you owe them!

    +1

much better - heck the scab doesnt even look terrible - so you prolly do not have an infection...  fair warning tho - by leaving your lobes naked for a month or so (esp since they were traumatized), you will get some significant downsizing, i think...  but - that is a 'good thing' because it should help thicken up your lobes and help them to heal...

for now tho - please be sure to sss-soak them every day and/or night...  it will REALLY help the healing process and will prolly also feel good too...

btw - i could be wrong about your potential-downsizing-a-lot, maybe your lobes will stay fairly well open, but either way - your body will be healing itself and that is a good-thing...  thanx for volunteering your pics and keeping us updated tho - it is really great for us (well, at least me) to feel like we might be having a positive impact on someone in their stretching journey...  we all make mistakes, its cool - and the best thing is to be able to learn from them...  im sure you will be able to get stretched back up again fairly soon - and now you know how to do it properly...  you should have time to pick up a $5 poor-mans-stretching kit from baf for the next size, even...  good luck, h.

exactly 8.25250000001mm (0g) ear lobes only... so far...

Your help is very much appreciated. I'm glad so many people have tried to help. Keep checking back every few days or so, because I'll be posting my status. Thank you everyone.

I'd let them heal for at least six months and not wear anything in them during that time. You need to treat your ears as though you just got pierced, so you'll need to wait at least six months before stretching. If you want to wear some small gauge high quality jewelry (stainless steel, titanium, glass) you can, but I think your ears will be much healthier if you go naked and slooooowly restretch.
