You can get eyelets in titanium too, and steel isn't bad for initial jewelry, unless you react badly to it anyway.
My tragus was pierced at 14g which is prolly the biggest a piercer will do them with a needle, but I'm now at 12g. I found it pretty much self stretched really, 14g stuff kept just falling out lol. With the tragus being so small, you'd prolly want a smaller punch if you can, and maybe stretch up later a little bit. Even if it's a small punch tho it will still be better than a needle in terms of pressure/pushing cart around, so good for healing even if you DO stretch later on. I don't think stretching more than one or maybe two sizes would be a very good idea tho, as the piercing is gonna be close to the edge of the cart wherever you place it.
I think 10g would be good, you can get eyelets and tunnels in metal that small, glass starts at 12g even, and earskins too at 10g.
2g lobes, 2g conches, 4g septum, 8g labret, 12g left tragus, 14g right tragus, 14g right eyebrow, 10g 'halfadravya'
One day: 1/2" lobes, 0g conches, 12g right tragus... maybe more
