Was the silicone from Kaos you tried?  If you have an allergy that bad to silicone, you might want to avoid it. I know the hiders are helpful, but its not worth risking your heath...

    Im just that awesome!

at 00g when you wear earskins a pencil eraser fits perfectly inside the hole. so technically they arent any bigger than a pencileraser.

with some of the pretty glass jewlery you cant tell sometimes if its stretched or not.

Make sure to always have a LARGE pencil handy. That way the eraser on it is larger than your plugs. LOL

    Sucks to hear.

Yes a company can change the dress code and depending on the state they can fire you for not adhering to the new code. I would suggest politely and calmly talking to your manager about it.

That is what another employee told me (she is married to the manager at the new Sheetz nearby, and the asst. manager that has the 1" lobes works there too)... She said, "just keep the huge pencils that the 1st graders use on hand!"

I talked to my manager about it, and she is pretty angry about the new rules... but it isn't up to her to decide.

get a pair of cheap glass/horn/acrylic (if you can wear it) plugs. glue something silly on it (as some people mentioned, fronts from other earrings, stickers, etc). that'll probably look enough like normal earrings to be fine and honestly, if you're the best employee they have they may not care (sometimes companies put in rules that they think will catch the people they want to fire, but can't find a way unless they write a new rule for it). and if you wanted to be snarky, glue a dime to the front of your plugs. ; P

    Re: New "gauged ears" rule

My college does not allow for or condine streched piercings at all and no more than one piercing per lobe(2 holes total) or the women only.  I have had my ears streched for 14 years and they are at a 2/4g (not really interested in huge holes). I typically hide them with double flare gems (i looked the largest size they sell in the ones i wear is 0g) but there are other options out there for like glass ones, which give the same look.  It is not even noticeable on me, and the few days a term i can wear "normal" jewlery people are so suprised to find out that my captive bead rings are not fake, and that my lobes are streched.
