I currently have 4 piercings in each ear, 2 are at 8G, and the other 6 are at a size that is smaller then 20G. I don't even know exactly what size it is, but on the gauge card you get from BAF, I layed the earrings that I currently wear in those holes, and it was about half the size of 20G.
I've had the same silver rings in it for more then 7 years now, I bought them once at a local jewelry store, but now I got this crazy idea in my head that I would like to wear something different in those holes, except it seems impossible to find jewelry that small.
So that leads to my question, what does one do if you want to stretch holes that tiny? I know that those holes are really not stretchy as they currently are, and BAF only sells tapers from 18G onwards.. I would tape my current earrings, but since they are so tiny (with also a very small wearable area) and curved to boot, I don't think that would go very well..
Any ideas?
Oh, and another thing, I heard one time that wearing pure silver in your ears for a long period of time wasn't good, but I never really got why (silver poisoning perhaps, but with healed piercings I don't think that would be much of a problem). I've worn my silver rings now for over 7 years and never had any issues at all, but if it is bad, why is that exactly?
