What's The Best Way To Heal Nipple Piercings

I've heard SSS, an use a mild soap in the shower. Emu oil to help prevent drying out of the nipples. I however can't get any emu oil so what's an alternative? Also is there any other ways to take care of my nips while healing? Any tricks or tips?

The piercers gave me ivory bar soap which i am finding it working really well!  My mom always bought ivory soap growing up and i hated it, but it works really well for my piercings.  it's healed my conch very well also.  I used H2Ocean spray which made my nipples appear to be a month healed after only two weeks.  I sprayed 3-6 times a day plus a SSS when I felt it necessary.  Honestly I didnt do SSS often, but I should have.  They feel nice; I only did them when my nipples felt irritated but there's nothing wrong with doing them more often, I was just lazy and used the H2Ocean very frequently.

As for any other tips or tricks I just recommend (you're a girl, right?) a sports bra and keeping pressure off the piercing.  No hot tubs, pools, or people biting them.  I'd just say overall use precaution because one day they may be fine and the next day they may hurt like hell.  I havent had any problems but sometimes while healing they've been deceiving.  One week I feel like I'm ready to change them, and the next week it can look like a long way down the road before changing them.  My piercer told me 2 months before changing jewelry, and they've been healed 2 months now and I DO NOT feel ready to change them.  My friend who's had hers for 5 years says 6 months, and that sounds good to me.  I barely have discharge anymore, but with nipples it's better to be safe than sorry, I say.  Good luck!

Satin soap once a day, sss once a day, seamless old lady bras and emu oil for dryness got me to three months. Make surethe placement is right, my left was pierced too deep on one side so I had to retire it. The scar tissue is a bitch to get rid of!

    9 tattoos inc back piece
    nostril
    navel
    rook
    right nipple
    VCH
    tragus
    8g lobes (work in progress)
    lots more planned!

BAF carries emu oil, so if you're able to do any online shopping or can get a visa/mastercard gift card you can order from here...it's great quality and really the only oil that can be used on unhealed piercings. Drying was definitely an issue for me when I had mine pierced, but I didn't know about emu oil at the time. I tried to avoid soap (although I recommend Dr. Bronner's, I've used it on other healing piercings) and made sure to rinse well after sea salt soaks.

    Oh you pretty things
don't you know you're driving your
    mamas and papas insane?
