well, the only thing i can think of is clear glass retainers...? those are only meant for healed piercings though, i believe.

Clear glass or skin tone glass.

I'm a slight perfectionist, though I understand the balance of both perfection and imperfection; for what we are not makes us what we are, and vice versa.

Yeah.. go for clear if you can.. but if they are new, you likely should not mess with them too much.  Go back to your piercer maybe and explain the situation and see if s/he has any suggestions. OR just stand up for yourself to those who don't like them?

first off this topic belongs in the jewelry section

glass retainers can be worn in fresh piercings...thats why i invented them

and yes you should stant up for yourself.  not good to change out a fresh piercing just to hide it for a short pieriod of time

I have to wonder, with the piercings that you have, why you would even try to hide them? Even retainers will be pretty obvious with that many of them, I would think.

I haven't used clear glass in any facial piercings, but honestly they tend to accentuate the hole (at least, in my eyes). you could use glass retainers and paint the tops with a flesh-tone nailpolish but I don't know how effective that's going to be for your more visible piercings (cheeks, esp.). for those you could try a barbell with acrylic flesh-colored dome (I know industrial strength makes them, I'm not sure about anatometal) though, as many people have pointed out: if they're fresh piercings, changing jewelry isn't a good idea. if this is for a job, you could try using small band-aids -- I know a few people who have been able to just cover their piercings (regardless of how obvious the coverings are). and if these are your friends ... find new ones, man. I don't expect my friends to love everything I do with my body or my life, but they should at least be supportive of me doing what makes me happy (provided it's not dangerous or really stupid). good luck.
