Ok...so here's the story. I got my ears pierced a little less than a month ago. Unfortunately it didn't go so well.
Here's the background - I got my lobes pierced at a 12g, right away I noticed one was practically sideways in my ear, the angle she had pierced it at was all wrong, though the other side looked fine. The piercer told me to give it a day or two and if I didn't like it she would repierce the one side after it healed. I decided to take it out the next day. It's since healed up fine.
My real problem is with my other lobe that initially looked fine. As I was cleaning it I noticed it was really close to my cartilage and on further inspection saw that she had angled the piercing up so that it went through my cartilage...sheesh. And not only that but I was beginning to get a keloid. Ok so I went back again (about a week or so later, had to go out of town) showed a different piercer, took out that piercing and let it start to heal.
The keloid has gone away, thank goodness. But now I can feel a big ball of scar tissue where the piercing was. I've been reading the forums about massaging it with oil...so going to start that today, but my question is can I get my lobe with the scar tissue repierced soon or do I have to wait for it to go away completely? I plan on getting repierced at a 12g again and then stretching up to a 10g (and possibly in the future going to an 8g).
Sorry for the long back-story, any comments would be appreciated!
