    Restretching?

Soo a few months ago I had 4g in my lobes and I decided to take them out while I could because I wasn't positive if I wanted them still. So they shut within the week. I got my ears repierced about a month or two ago and I got them pierced at 18g I think but it could've been 16. but anyway my ears got really stretchy and the earrings are falling through so i'm sure i could fit in a atleast a 12 or maybe even 10.I was wondering if I should just wait and still go and do the 16,14, or I should try and see if I can put in the 12/10. If that makes sense. lol:P

     Wait.

Were the holes still open when you had them repierced? If so why did you repierce them?

    Im just that awesome!

That's what it sounds like to me.  Maybe she couldn't get the jewelry through the back or something?  My seconds do that...the jewelry goes about half through.

I wouldn't just jump to a 10g.  Dead stretching's okay for the next size, if they slip in super easily.  Maybe try each size to see how they feel?  Just don't rush, okay!?

I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

No they were shut but I still had slits on both sides of my ears. I had them repierced because I missed earrings and I wanted to start stretching again but I wanted to be extra careful.

Yeah, then you need to wait to stretch them. If you stretch them too early you could cause a lot of issues... or go back and have them pierced at a 4g if thats your goal size...

Okay thanks :) I was just making sure. I'm probably gonna wait a few more weeks and see if I can put a 14 in because 16 slips in so easily and is loose. I massage them all the time though and naw, 4g isn't my goalll.

Be careful.  If you plan to stretch up, you might be causing more problems down the line my fugging with your ears so much after a fresh piercing.  You really should wait at least 6 months before you do any further stretching.

Just to be clear.. a few more weeks sounds like rushing to me... sounds like it needs to be a few more months.

    Re: Restretching?

Wait... dont even try to put a larger size in... Its more important to wait and allow your ears to heal and toughen up than it is to try and slip in larger jewelry too soon...

    Re: Restretching?

It seems odd to me that your 4g holes closed completely...were your ears pissed off and raw when you decided to let them close? Depending on your past stretching practices you may have some accumulated scar tissue, which will make it even more important to go slowly and be good to your ears.

    Oh you pretty things
don't you know you're driving your
    mamas and papas insane?
