    Problems with O-Rings.

I'm having problems with my O-Rings coming off in my sleep on my right ear.  I have steel plugs from BAF in 6g and both O-Rings on my right ear have came off.  Anyone have any suggestions of how to keep them on?  Thanks!

Try useing a size smaller :) it´s more difficult to get them on, but possible.

Also, BAF has these little x-orings that look like they should stay on pretty well :)

I have the same plugs you do. It depends on how long ago you stretched to 6g but when my lobes have self-stretched enough I wrap my plugs in a single layer of PTFE tape and they stay in by themself.

Alternatively, I seem to lose my orings less often with SFs or you could try using one size smaller.

I use the clear silicone o-rings one size smaller.  They are stretchier and are easier to get on than the black ones.

some orings strech or wear out, they can get loose over time on their own.

you may just need to replace them

i replace my orings on my conch once a month.

the x-rings work really well and for me the colored silicone orings seem to not stretch out as easily.  just get them in a size smaller as another poster suggested

And they seem almost stickier...as in they don't slip as easily.  I had some 4g plugs in the other day with 8g clear O-rings...they didn't budge!

I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

Haha that doesn't seem too surprising given the size difference ;D. I can't wear the black o-rings but I find that sometimes I'll lose a clear one in my sleep. Usually I can find it if it's in my sheets, but once it hits the floor it's basically history. Since I very rarely wear plugs without divots I haven't bothered trying smaller o-rings.

fwiw, I found that o-rings a size smaller stopped me from losing them even on SF/NF stuff without divots :)

Haha not really.  I tried putting a size smaller o-rings on the plugs when I was at 6g but that didn't work out too well.  I ended up getting pretty pissed trying to get the o-rings on and just didn't mess with it anymore.  I put a new 6g o-ring on the front of each plug and they worked fine.  They didn't come off again.

i persoanly hate O ring jewlery... IF i do use them, i use smaller Orings, like with 1" plugs with grooves i use 7/8 O rings.

try tunnels with screw fit backs, im in love with them :P
