    Lip Piercing or Labret? Whatcha think?

    My piercing is right below my bottom lip in the "curl" and is barely visible with the microgem I have in.  Is this a labret or is it technically a lip piercing?  As seen in this pretty lady's picture...

    4 Tattoos
    1/2 inch Ears
    8g Tongue
    16g lip/labret
    16g tragus

    I think it's a lip piercing, but I'm not a piercer, so...  Kinda hard to see exactly because of the huge balls he has on it.

    I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

    A labret is a type of jewelry worn in a lip piercing.

    @axon: I thought a labret was any piercing on the lip (making that picture a center labret)? Hmm, I learned something today :D

    There's another school of thought that uses the term 'labret' to refer to any decorative item placed upon the lips regardless of placement.

    Ditto.  I thought labret was the name of the piercing, and the jewelry was a labret stud.  Thanks, Axon!
