Interesting.  I'm always fascinated by the evolution of language and terms for piercing.  This "halfway" piercing is not in the BME Encylopedia/wiki, so maybe it should be added!

If I had known at the time that it was possible to get pierced larger, I woulda gotten it done at like 8g or so. Oh well! Maybe in the future!?

 

Edit: A few hours ago, my left lobe just started hurting and itching.  I looked in the mirror, and it was kinda red, and the hole looked wrinkly!  WEIRD!  So I soaked it,and like 10 minutes later, it was almost 100% better!  It's feeling a little better now, but still tender to the touch.  Guess I slept funny on it!? I slept on my left side ALL NIGHT because I didn't want to piss off my new conch stretch...lol

I stretched my nostril to 14g about 30 minutes ago. I went smoothly and now my nose is 14g! My nose is a little sore and tender now but hopefully that'll go away so I can change the jewelry from a plug to a ring. Yay! I'm happy!

yay for good nostril stretches. my high nostrils are PISSED at me. uhg. i had to change the black glass to white glass before i see my family less week, and now i have a sore and swollen nose to thank. i really wish it was easier to change them. uhg seriously

Is white just less noticeable to them?

i got new wood conch pins in 6g and since they're hand carved, they are a bit larger than 6g and it pissed them off a bit :(

I stretched to 8g on Friday and it was awesomely easy!

My left ear (got pissed the other day for no reason) is 100% better, and my conch is doing great!  Still a little sore, but no redness or swelling.  YAY!  I love the colorfront in it, and can't wait to get more colors!

My nose is pretty sore since i stretched it and today when i took the plug out to switch to a CBR (temporary) it started to bleed. I put in the CBR and my nose is still really sore and uncomfortable. I'm not really sure what to do about this, i'll probably see my piercer today about it. (any suggestions on wtf i should do would be great)

When did you stretch it?  Maybe it's too soon for a jewelry switch?  Or maybe it's been pissed since you stretched it.  My right ear was like that when I stretched to 2g, and didn't bleed til I took the plug out to downsize...

Well I stretched it on Saturday and then couldn't put in a metal CBR so I put in a more questionable piece of fail. Now there is some lymph type fluid coming out of my piercing. uh yeah, nose fail. I will be seeing my piercer after class today to get some help. I also caught the jewelry on my shirt and hit my face while i was sleeping, so that could have really pissed it off other than just stretching it.
