I discovered last night that my septum self-stretched to 12g. I've had it pierced for 4 or 5 years, but I had some 18g jewelry in for part of the time, 14 in for part of the time, and even went naked for a significant amount of time. I'm kind of surprised that after having my 14g retainer in for only a few months that 12g jewelry slides in painlessly...time to buy a new septum retainer!

You can fit a fourth lobe piercing without it going into cartilage?!?

edit: can we see a picture of your right ear?

 Can it be a fourth if there isn't a third?  I don't see a third listed in the sig.  Is it about placement that denotes number or actual number of lobe piercings

 The easy thing to do is just call everything in that weird lobey area a 'cartilobe'

I really want to stretch my septum to 8g! Its so loose but its only been at 10g for about a month. I might just go for it... 

I might just stay at 3/4". I finally like the way my ears look...weird, because that's never happened before. lol

 My lobes have been fine for a while now.  I still can't wait for my blings to get here next week.  :D

My septum was tender last night for some reason but feels better today.

My rook is tender because I just cleaned it.  For some reason there was some moist lymph coming out today (usually I get dry crusties).

My tongue has random moments where it feels tight, probably because I stretched it a few days ago to 8g.  I'm sure that will slow down/go away soon.  Even at 10g which was healed over a year it felt tight every morning when I woke up.

 My tongue web piercing has been insanely easy to heal.  I've had it for 6 days, and I don't even notice it anymore.  It never had any weird secretions, or a lot of pain.  The day after I got it done, it made my throat hurt though, which was odd.  I really want to buy a curved barbell to wear in it, but I'm not sure about what wearable to get though, and it'll probably be a while before I can change jewelry.  Does anyone with a tongue web piercing know how long it usually is before its safe to change jewelry?

woodlandcore, i would suggest tapering them yourself. i personally like to taper mine super slowly, over about an hour, it makes the process 10x more comfortable, then had i had them quickly tapered at a shop. how big do you plan to go?

the largest i'll go is 12g. thanks for the input, i think i'll just get the taper and do it myself then.

Well this morning as i was playing on the computer i heard something metal fall. My first thought was one of the balls off my earrings but felt around and all were there , for some reson did not think to check my snake bites or brand new week old labret.well went on playing for a few min. when all of a sudden my labret post fell out into my mouth. Oh no!!! lucky i ran to the bath room washed my hands and put it right back in. I t went in with no pain or trouble and i had anther ball i could put on. So now all of my piercings new and old are doing fine.

 i got some 16g retainers for my snakebites, knowing one of my piercings was an an 18g and one is 16g, so of course when i put them in i stretched one. now i'm thinking about just ordering some 16g rings so my lips will be even. it's kinda sore still.

i got some new dichro eyelets for my conches as well [ very pretty <3 ] and when i took out my cz gem plugs i was suprised by how red and unhappy they looked. :(  they're much happier with glass, i think it's because of the weather. 

I am tired of going to put my hair up in a hairtie and having that one hair that is stuck between my lobe and jewelry. Then, when I try to pull it through, it won't seem to pull out from either side of my lobe. I sleep with my jewelry out, and I put my hair up when I put it back in to try to avoid this, but it keeps happening. Ugh...
