I'm honestly not really liking my ears being at 1g. I'm bored with the two pairs of plugs I have at this size and I've been going naked most days and only wearing plugs at night. I know it's healthy to do that and I have no problems putting my jewelry back in at night, but I'm anxious to get to 0g (but still have a few months at this size); therefore, I'd like to wear jewelry as much as possible to help them self-stretch.

if you can find them - i really loved a pair of gg glass spirals in the limited-bin i found here once-upon-a-time...  they (spirals) were fun, the glass felt great, and being at 1g wasa kinda neato for me...  just a thought...  gl, h.

 On the topic of myself, the scarring on my conch has gone down and it's healing super fast! I'm DYING to get new jewelry once my mum's credit card gets paid off for my conch and lobes...Kinda looking into tongue piercings too, my piercer said he'd be proud to do one for me <3

My ears have been feeling great lately, I am thinking about trying to put in some DF plugs in tonight. I have a few pair I've been dying to wear.

when i was 17 i got my left tragus gunned. yes, stupid. very. the cartilage cracked. 8 years later, and now the whole damn thing rejected. i have a tragus that is split in half and i feel lopsided with 3 holes in 1 ear and 2in the other.

My septum's only a week old now, so I'm not surprised at the tenderness... but it still bothers me that the CBB gets crooked easily.  I notice I get more lymph/crust on the side where the needle entered, and it gets very sore when I try to adjust it.

My rook is healing nicely!  I was very concerned about it after reading threads on here about people having healing issues, but I think I have less to worry about.  I'll still be cautious, though.  I'm planning to get an internally threaded Circular for it when it's fully healed.

My lobes have been stink-free for a while now and I'm so thrilled lol.  The Satin soap has helped a LOT.

I'm very worried about my bottom sternum micro.  It has a slight pink/red bump... like it's starting to poke out at an angle (sign of rejection??)  I think I'll have to find time to go ask my piercer if it will be okay.  For now I've just been doing my SSS and trying not to sleep on my stomach.

I agree. I only have one pair of plugs for my flats and I want to be at 0g already.

And Kathryn, I've started wearing 2g df plugs because I have a decent number of them and I find that my ears don't shrink much if I wear those during the day and 1g plugs at night. I painted my 1g plugs with nail polish, but I just don't have the energy to be constantly changing them (and I don't have a huge variety of nail polish). When I start getting serious about stretching to 0g in a few months I'll have to force myself to wear the 1g ones more often, but for now I need variety!

I'm with you. I'm trying to enjoy painting my plugs so it at least looks like i'm changing my jewelry, but I'm not fooling myself.

My ears are pretty itchy, I think the black o rings are starting to irritate the back of my ear. I just got a couple pair of glass plugs in the mail yesterday that I would like to wear but they are double flared and I'm not sure if they will fit. I have what feels like a pimple between my head and the start of the bottom of my ear, not really sure what it is, I just hope it's nothing serious and goes away in a day or two.

My lip/labret and tragus are healed.  And I reached my goal size for my ears of 1/2!!!!!!

Congrats! I'm a little way off getting to 1/2" myself, but it's my goal too! :)

Ahh...every tragus piercing I ever had rejected...how unfortunate.

Helices are often easier to heal than industrials due to barbell pressure on both piercings.
