    The useless piercing posts;

    This thread is basically stating some random, useless & interesting information about how your piercings are feeling today!

     My new horizontal eyebrow piercings are settling in really well and my 'industrial' is being a bit of a bitch at the moment..

     How are your piercings?

    will work for love.

    ha  This is a cute thread!  I like it.  My navel has been getting on my nerves lately.  It just keeps sliding up (so that the top ball is sticking up and straight forward) because I've gotten a little pudgy around the midsection, and I guess it doesn't fit into my belly button like it used to.  I've had it almost 10 years, and I've lost and gained weight, so the hole has stretched itself out some.  My 14g curved barbells just slide around and stick up funny sometimes, and fall down and past my belly button sometimes (long barbell)  So, I ordered a 10g glass curve (I had some 10g jewelry that I played with and it fit), but my skin didn't like it, I guess so I just put the 14 back in.  Next time I get paid, I'm going to get a 12g (I guess 10g was too big, but 14g is definitely too small) steel curve that's shorter than the one I'm wearing.  Hopefully that will make it happier!  Sigh...my other piercings are doing great!!

    My left ear is a little annoyed because last night I was wondering if I was going to be able to magically slip my 8g glass plugs in without stretching - the answer was no...it would seem the dead stretching gods are not smiling upon me like they do upon Adwoa LOL

    Current: 8g lobes, 14g right conch, 2x 16g helix on left ear, 14g tongue | Goal: 2nds on both ears (likely), low helix on right ear or ear head (likely), nostril and half sleeve (definate once I am self employed and can have visable mods).

    President of the Itty Bitty Plug Committee - Membership open to everyone with a goal size of 2g or less.

    Sleeping on a goop of dried blood makes my ear tender the next day. It def. wasn't tender the first couple days, so I thought hey no problems, I can sleep on it! Hmm no.

    I'm *still* struggling to get rid of hypertrophic scars on my industrial, it's being a complete pest. Apart from that all my piercings are healthy. (:

     This is a totally good idea for a post. My lobes are fabulous, acting like they've been at 11/16"'s for ages instead of only like 2 weeks. My left nostril is finally settling down, it's been pestering me this past week. So my piercings are all fabulous today.

     All quiet on the Eastern front.  My nape is settling nicely after 4 months.  I'm considering getting some fancy ends for it  :)

     My ears are finally chilling out after having a painful time trying to get these acrylic leopard plugs in two days ago. The divot for the o-rings are HUGE and it felt horrible going through my ear. My helix has also been a little sore since having a difficult time getting a neometal threadless labret into it, although I expect the soreness to go away soon. None of it is enough to have an effect on my sleeping, so that's the most important thing ;D. And...I got my vch pierced about 5 hours ago, and it feels great right now. It felt achy after having it done, but no real pain after the initial stick.

     I had to take my septum out today (I was in the ER, yet again) and since its only 3.5 months old, I figured it would close up on me. But to my surprise it stayed open for 5 hours and looks really good Big Smile I'm going to wait a couple more months and start stretching it. My ears are doing really well too. Taping has been working really nicely for me and I'm almost done.

    Hope you're ok! I've taken my 14g septum out for a week or two and been able to get 18g jewelry in. With jewelry in it seems to stretch fairly easily, I have a 14g retainer in it now but could probably easily go bigger.

     Why did the ER make you take your septum jewelry out??  If I may ask....

     I needed a CT scan and they said no metal of any kind. I didn't think it would matter for that kind of procedure but I wasn't going to fight them.
