    I think it's just that particular style of eyelets.  In her first pic, I believe I see lobe...

    I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

    curiosity-question...  did painting the back change something on the front too?  or did you just not want the 'shiny' from the other side?  it seems to me that my simple acrylics 'sparkle' more when they have black-backs - but it has not occurred to me to do that (paint them) myself to other jewelry...  very creative...

    exactly 8.25250000001mm (0g) ear lobes ? goal reached, but currently downsizing/healing old wounds... so that i can create -new- ones... lol...

    I painted the backs with black nail polish to make it look like black gems but still reflect light from the front facets. The plugs were originally clear.

    Will knit/crochet for pretties. Seriously, try me. I like shiny ^.^

    kaitlin - your setup with the hoochie-hoops is tres-cool !!!  and i bet they have a wonderful metallic 'ring' to them when they are sliding around...  youve got quite the lovely styling (hair) also...

    is it just my imagination?  or does it seem like you almost have no lobes around the outside of the DFs?  i 'know' that it is probably policitically-incorrect to let lobes get that thin - but i must admit that your look (to me) is very-sexy...  Drinks

    Its the flares on the eyelets and her ears look amazing and the new haircut really flatters her features

    Wissabo, I'm wearing two independent rings in the daith region; I think a spiral's end would be too pointy to be comfortable in my ear.

     

    I really like the idea of this thread, so I'm spamming it. Today I popped in some 10mm streaky opalite.

    Axon, that's what I thought!  I was like,"Doesn't that poke in her ear?!"  So it's pierced twice.  Well, it looks awesome! :-D  And I love the double rook!  I've been trying to figure out what other ear piercing I want to get...maybe I'll add a second rook!?

    I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

    I want to steal this ear too. :/ I'm a giant sucker for paired cartilage piercings, and that's all you have! haha. Those opalite plugs almost look like cat's eye.

    Nooooo! I need my ears to hear and, er, hang pretty things on them. I plan on switching out all those barbells for rings this summer, I think it'll look better.

    I bought the opalite from a local shop; they must be blemished (or as I like to call them, SUPER AWESOME) because they have translucent lines running through them.
